Fuel Off-Road comes out swinging with the FC862 Hype FFT wheel. The Hype is a FFT monoblock 6-spoke design wheel with a clean lip. Fuel offers the Hype in 5 finishes: Battleship Gray, Gloss White, Machined, Matte Black and Matte Bronze. The Hype is constructed using a highly advanced production technique called Flow Formed Technology (FFT). During this process, the rim of the wheel is forged at high pressure while spinning at high speed. This process alters the molecular structure and enhances the strength of the alloy. The Flow Formed manufacturing process produces a much lighter weight than a regular cast wheel. Most importantly, the weight saving is in the wheel's outer rim, dramatically reducing rotational mass and enhancing vehicle performance. Fuel launched the Hype in 5-lug and 6-lug fitments in 17x8.5 and 18x8.5 sizes (additional sizes and fitments may have been added).
