Motegi Racing MR159 Battle V FFT Blackbird Metallic Custom Wheels
The original just got even better. Based off the classic Motegi Battle design, the Battle V (Battle Five), is a 5-spoke version ready for anything you throw at it. We build the Battle V using our Flow Formed Technology, allowing us to produce a lightweight yet strong wheel for the street and track. The Flow Form Technology (FFT) is a manufacturing process that uses a highly advanced production technique. The rim of the wheels is forged at high pressure while the wheel is spun at high speed. This alters the molecular structure and enhances the strength of the alloy. The benefit is a much lighter weight than a regular cast wheel. Most importantly, the weight saving is in the outer rim of the wheel which dramatically reduces rotational mass and enhances vehicle performance.
